Space Shuttle A-Go-Go
didn’t Go-Go…at least not while we were there. My wife and I just got back from visiting her parents in Florida and I was really hoping we’d see a shuttle launch but it was not to be. Oh well, maybe some day. We had a good vantage point too, from the 11th floor of a friend’s beachfront condo. It was a great trip anyway, two weeks of sun and beach and lots of down time to catch up on some reading. No comics. I read Terry Pratchett’s Equal Rites, Khaled Hosseini’s Kite Runner, Ken Follett’s The Pillars Of The Earth. No wonder I need glasses.
Something that is even better than a shuttle launch is now just a week away…the San Diego Comic Con International 2009. We have a table this year located at B6. Not where we usually display but the budget was tight this year. You know what I’m talking about. So if you plan on going, please stop by the table, say hello. Besides myself and my wife, we’ll have artist Alfonso Ruiz on hand to dazzle your eyes. I’m really looking forward to the show, a large portion of our books sales are point of contact sales and repeat customers. And I have to tell you, it’s really gratifying to meet people face to face, answer their questions and sign a book or two. I hope to see you there!
